As a sure sign that Fall is right around the corner, the Friends of the Upton Town Library are preparing to hold its annual book sale. This year’s must-not-miss event will be held during Upton’s Heritage Day – Saturday, October 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the library’s front lawn. Rain date will be Sunday, October 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Gently used adult and
children’s books, CDs and DVDs will be available at bargain prices: $2 for adult hardcovers; $1 for adult
paperbacks; 2 for $1 for children’s books; and $2 for CDs and DVDs. Purchase a
Friends of the Upton Town Library book bag for $25 and stuff it with as many
items as will fit. Bring your
previously-purchased Friends’ book bag and stuff it for just $15!
The book sale is the
largest fundraiser for the Friends of the Library. Proceeds from this event will directly
support vital library programs and services, including the library’s Museum
Pass Program. So please make sure to
mark your calendar and plan to shop early for the best selection!
