Summer TinyTots
“Baby” Storytime
Making connections—whether with books, music, or people—is
the foundation of storytime at Upton Town Library. TinyTots (aka Baby)
Storytime is ideal for acquainting babies, toddlers, and young children with
the library, literature, language and music, as well as for them to bond with
their parents and caregivers and meet new friends! TinyTots lasts about 20
minutes followed by open playtime and book browsing. Registration is requested,
but drop-ins are always welcome. Sessions are held in eight-week intervals on
Friday mornings at 10:30am with our Summer program running from June 21 to
August 9, 2013.
Preschool Storytime
Preschool Storytime is on Thursdays at Upton Town Library!
Several picture books are read aloud followed by a theme-related activity or
craft. Our upcoming themes for July include dinosaurs, animals that burrow, and
treasure! Note: We will only offer one afternoon storytime on July 18 at 1:30pm
in order to accommodate other summer library events, however, we will meet
every Thursday morning in July at 10:30am.
Registration is requested, but drop-ins are always welcome.
Drop In Craft Day
For elementary-school aged kids Upton Town Library will be
offering Drop-In Craft Days over the summer! Join us on Thursday, July 11,
and/or Thursday, July 25, between 12pm-5pm to create crafts that focus on
Digging Into the Past and Adventure.
