Summer Reading Program 2020

Upton Town Library is hosting its annual Summer Reading Program! This summer's theme is IMAGINE YOUR STORY!, a theme full of fairy tales, fantasy, and fun! Beginning June 16, children of all ages can register online to access a summer full of activities, printables, and virtual programming.  Folders of materials will also be available on the library porch. 

Events include:

• Our ever-popular Read around the Town Series, with Mrs. Murphy recording storytimes at places all over Upton! 
• Weekly Baby Storytime videos on YouTube
• Special ZOOM live storytimes
• Weekly ZOOM Teen Group meetings
• Monthly Kids' Book Club and Teen Book Club ZOOM meetings
• Magic Mondays - a new video posted to YouTube each week with magic tricks and books!
• Virtual Escape Room links to challenge your mind
• A Virtual Animation Workshop to learn new animation software programs
• A Virtual Stuffed Animal Sleepover
• Weekly Google Form reading logs
• Weekly raffle submissions
• Digital badge rewards

This will be a new way for hosting our summer program, so we will do our best to keep you reading and entertained!  Many events will require you to register in order to obtain unlisted YouTube links; please use our Event Calendar. Be sure to reach out with any questions you might have.
