The Upton Town Library is encouraging any interested residents of Upton to take nomination papers for election as a Library Trustee.
The Library Trustees are a nine-member elected board that is responsible for policy, goals and future vision of the Upton Town Library. Qualifications include a desire to improve library services in the town, ability to work cooperatively with other town officials and the general public, and attendance at a monthly evening meeting, for approximately 2 hours per month.
