Upton Library Book Group is meeting on Wednesday, July 27th 7-8pm at Memorial Elementary
School to discuss "From Hardtack to Home Fries" by Barbara Haber. Our book group meets on the last Wednesday of every month, and alternates between fiction and non-fiction titles.
August Book events:
On Weds, August 24th at 6:30pm, Upton Library is hosting the authors of a
new book and photographic collection about Abandoned Asylums of
Massachusetts. The authors, Tammy Rebello and L.F. Blanchard, will be
giving a slide show presentation about local abandoned
asylums, and will then be available for discussion and book signing.
This event will be held either in the library reading room, or in the
town hall, depending on how many people plan to attend.
Our August book group meeting is the next week, on August 31st. We will
be discussing two fiction books by Roland Merullo, "The Return", and
"In Revere, In Those Days"
